The Center for Research Equipment at the Nagoya City University was established in April 2009 to strengthen research capabilities of our university through the effective and efficient operation of research facilities and equipment. Our university is expected to play a role as a hub for research collaboration within the region. One of the goals of this center is to contribute to the creation of innovation in this region by being widely available to the local community. To provide all researchers with easy access to research facilities and equipment, our center has introduced a new equipment management system and consolidated contact information for users in the spring of 2023. As part of research support, we are also launching a contract analysis business focusing on cutting-edge research equipment that requires more specialized expertise. We will continue our efforts to smoothly operate and maintain research facilities and equipment in order to contribute to improving the research capabilities of our university and research collaboration with the local community.
